About The Job: 

From our client’s design studio in Camden, as a Service Designer, you will develop an understanding of client’s needs and what they require and possess in terms of design capabilities. 

You will design incredible customer experiences and play a leading role in the design process through each project, from benchmarking through to testing. 

Specifically, your role will involve: 

- Creating next-gen branded online experiences, mobile apps and brand interfaces 

- Working with consumer product companies and international brands 

- Creating a wide array of compelling digital work 

- Innovating within design to help build upon our client’s mantra of innovation 

- Collaborating with other teams and individuals to deliver truly magnificent experiences 

- Reinforcing our client’s hallmarks of innovation and quality through your work and service levels 

About You: 

To be considered for the role of Service Designer, you will need: 

- A background in User Experience Design and or experience of working closely with UX designers and understanding their outputs 

- Experience with research methodologies, from desk research to primary research with end-users 

- A track record with market research and customer insights and synthesising data to inform the design approach 

- Good experience of running client workshops and capturing business requirements 

- Experience of incorporating data into a service design approach to hypothesize, experiment and validate assumptions 

- Thought leadership skills in service design to drive innovation and enable clients to provide an outstanding service experience 

Ideal candidates will be communicative and influential with the willingness to coach or mentor others and the ability to think strategically and analytically. An effective and collaborative approach to design decision making (e.g. with visual design, creative technology) would be beneficial and experience of presenting alongside a good and articulate presentation style which conveys an intelligible narrative would also be an advantage. 

Experience with Agile working methodologies would put you in good stead, as would sketching and prototyping skills with InVision, Marvel or Adobe XD.
