DESKTOP SUPPORT ANALYST - FRONT OFFICE, UNIX, SQL, ITIL, BANKING

FRONT OFFICE, TRADE FLOOR, APPLICATION SUPPORT JOB IN INVESTMENT BANKING IN LONDON, INVOLVING UNIX, SQL, ITIL PAYING £550pd.

This job opportunity is for a leading global investment bank based in London who is searching for a support analyst. This job would be a suitable role for an IT trade floor support analyst looking for a major step up in a banking organisation in London. This well renowned bank requires a trading systems analyst who can ensure the stable running of the technology platform in London.

Responsibilities

- Deliver 1st and 2nd line support to users

- Need to be able to troubleshoot trading support tools

- Triaging complex issues

- Investigating and coordination to closure

- Performance management of members of staff

- First line for consultancy requests

- On call support and ad-hoc overtime

For the Desktop support analyst you are required to have

- Have experience of supporting customer facing applications

- Have a good understanding with SQL

- You need to have driven complex applications in a high-pressured environment

- Be confident with Unix and Linux scripting

- Have previous experience of multiplatform technologies
