Senior Web Developer (PHP)

6 month daily rate Contract in Dublin city centre

Exciting opportunity to work with an industry leader as an Application and Web Developer on eCommerce websites.

This is an exciting opportunity to be in a hands-on development position where you will be working on large scale, multi-product offering, web sites and apps.

In this role, you will contribute heavily to new and existing development and provide production support and troubleshooting. This position will consist of 20% Application Design, 50% Development and 30% Support.

You will understand application and web development practices including client and Server Side implementations, browser-to-server page rendering behaviours, web caching, page speed optimization and regular expression usage.

Experience with WordPress and working in a SQL environment. This is a hands-on development position.

Senior Web Developer Required Skills:

* 5+ years of web development experience

* 4+ years PHP development

* Strong in SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers, joins ect)

* Working in an Agile environment

* Experience with code management and continuous integration

Senior Web Developer Preferred Skills:

* Zend Framework

* PostreSQL

* Java Development

* WordPress

* Experience working with large-scale, high-visibility websites

* Jenkins, Git, Maven

There is no travel or working from home for this job.

NOTE: You must be an EU resident or have a valid STAMP 4 for visa to qualify for this role.
