I am looking for a Senior UX Designer to work with my client based in North Shore. My client is an enterprise organisation in the Media space.

This role is for an initial 6 month contract which may extend further. We are looking for someone to join the team on 4th September 2017.

We are looking for a senior experience designer with strong interests and expert capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must.

Role Responsibilities

* Identify and translates user needs into solutions (digital and physical)

* Understands and clearly advocates for product business goals

* Leads the creation and delivery of design solution documentation (user personas, experience maps, interactive//static wireframes, prototypes etc.) to support the design and execution of a range of products and product features

* Collaborate and interact with cross-disciplinary teams to concept and develop interactive solutions

* Assist in several simultaneous strategic projects with work streams that include user stakeholder research and competitive and heuristic assessments

* Facilitate internal group meetings; provides constructive feedback and work estimates

Role Requirements

* Seven or more years of user experience design experience for software, Web applications which leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices

* Expertise in documentation and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, any experience using Axure is a bonus

* Able to clearly form and articulate a UX point of view in verbal and written form

* Keen understanding of how content, design and user interface work together to create an optimal user experience

* Experience with a range of technologies to help test and create solutions

* Able to advocate for user-centered design philosophies among varied audiences

* Comfortable educating product managers and digital team about UX design process and deliverables

* Proficient with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
