Based in Irlam, Manchester, Daresbury or Warrington.
I am recruiting an experienced Project Controller to work with a FTSE 100 Specialist Nuclear Services Organisation. They are looking for a Project Controller with specific experience of Risk Analysis and who is capable of managing and delivering.
Accountabilities:
* Reporting to the head of project control and working closely with the project management team you will ensure the highest quality of project controls
* Assist the Project Manager with project strategy development and implementation
* Monthly Reports
* Variance analyses
* Trend analysis
* Change Control
* Identify Value for Money Savings and the capture of evidence and production of claims
* Weekly progress reports including the monitoring and tracking of project progress and financial performance.
* Day to day management of the planning, estimating, cost engineers, cost accountants, risk engineers and document control resources assigned to project control team.
* Project controls support in the form of estimating, planning, cost engineering and cost accounting.
Specific Risk Analysis Responsibilities:
* Day to day responsibility for the risk model, the risk plan and the cost model.
* Co-ordination of risk reviews, progress reviews and performance metrics.
* Liaising with project team members to identify risks and opportunities at an early stage
* Work with contractors to assess contractor held risks and their views on sub-programme held risks that impact upon them.
* Maintain an awareness of risks in other accounts and their potential impact on this account
* Monitor identification and close-out of account issues.
* Produce risk based reports
* Maintain Risk Register
Required Experience / Qualifications:
* Minimum ONC level or OND qualification, in an Engineering relevant discipline or equivalent
* Experience in the field of project controls and/or project management in an appropriate sector
* Some exposure to supervisory experience in project controls / project management environment.
* Experience of working in a multi discipline team
* Knowledge/ experience in project performance analysis and reporting variance analyses SV / CV, trend analysis, change control management.
* Security Clearance will need to be obtained
