TEST ANALYST X3 EDINBURGH - £27-35K

Our client is looking for a number of Test Analysts who will be expected to interpret baseline specifications to produce test scripts and document associated test data. Then execute the tests and record results. As part of preparation and execution, they must be able to communicate issues and observations to support teams and business and help manage them through to closure. They should understand and be capable of articulating testing principles based on the V Model.

- Must be able to write and execute test scripts using industry standard tools such as HP QC.

- Must have a good understanding of the Test Lifecycle and ISTQB principles.

- Must be capable of working within teams and on their own initiative, proactively managing their own time. Experience of working within a virtual delivery model including offshore and near-shore components would be of particular interest.

- Experienced with working directly with users and developers to analyse requirements and address defects is required.
