A leading bank in the city is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join their team within the divestment team, the ideal candidate will have worked in IT sourcing round applications and licensing. You will also need the below:

Location: City of London

Rate: 500-600

Contract: will go through to March next year

To succeed in this role you'll need to have significant sourcing experience within IT procurement and other categories of procurement/ IT contract management experience, preferably across the IT category. Divestment experience is desirable too.

* You'll be able to plan, deliver and monitor sourcing activity in the IT space, cognisant of sourcing strategy.

* Working with stakeholders from across the bank you will identify impacted suppliers of IT systems and their associated contracts.

* You'll be confident engaging with lawyers when you need legal advice.

* This is one of the largest divestments of its kind so you'll be able to deal with the ambiguity and changing priorities of the programme.

* You'll be able to facilitate meetings with groups of stakeholders and influence the outcome.

* Manage relationships with key stakeholders.

* You'll be experienced sourcing negotiator with demonstrable experience across IT and potentially other categories of sourcing, and with highly developed best practice sourcing skills.

* You'll need to be able to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office to build credible and accessible programme presentations and artefacts.
