Junior - Senior Power Supply Design Engineer

£30,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and benefits

We are looking for a wide range Power Supply Design Engineer to work for the leading provider of power solutions who have manufacturing facilities around the world. This revolutionary firm is looking for a Power Supply Design Engineer whose job will be to design and develop new power supply products for some very exciting clients.

Other responsibilities for the Power Supply Design Engineer job will include:
-Design and develop new power supply products / SMPS / PSU
-Attend and support internal design reviews
-Supervising tests to validate designs and establish test regimes to ensure that products are manufactured to the required quality, safety and reliability
-Supervise technicians and more junior Engineers in the support of engineering projects

For this Senior Power Supply Design Engineer job you will need to have:
-Degree in Electronics or relevant subject or a HNC with experience
-Experience in switch mode power supply design
-Advantageous experience would be: Analogue design, Digital Design, Control Circuit Design, PCB Layout techniques, component selection, thermal management and MTBF
-Experience with low voltage AC-DC or DC-DC Power Supplies
-Design experience within the field of industrial, communication or military power supplies would be preferred

The job will be based in Essex. Salary for this role will be between £30,000 and £65,000 depending on experience plus some excellent company benefits.
