Are you a Design Engineer looking to join a growing company working on technically interesting special purpose projects projects?

Here is a great opportunity to work on specialise purpose designs, receive expert training and work as part of a leading manufacturer.

The company is a well-established steel fabricator that designs and manufactures special projects for the industry leaders of the material handling industry dealing. Following a successful year and plans for expansion they are looking to bring on an additional Design Engineer.

The role involves being part of the design team where you will design and implement new technical modifications and improvements to existing and future projects. You will liaise with other members of the engineering team and be in charge of the Technical/Trade correspondence between parts and service suppliers.

This a great opportunity for an engineer/technician who wants training and development in a design role.

The Role

*Design Engineer - AutoDesk Inventor 2015

*Consulting managers/clients about design requirements

*Negotiating/agreeing contracts, budgets and time-scales

*Testing product designs using models, prototypes, specialist computer software and computer-aided design (CAD) technology

The Person

*Fabrication/Engineering Background

*Experience Using 3D CAD Software (ie Inventor/Solidwork's)
