About the role
Take this key role in our Intelligence department, and you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and updating the programs and databases that support our information and analysis activities. We’ll look to you to write programs for the quantitative analysis of large NHS and social care data sets and maintain programs used to analyse patient and care record-level datasets. An effective networker and relationship builder, you will establish links with Information Technology to support the role and initiate new developments in applications or functions.
About you
Skilled in SQL programming with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and/or VBA, you will have experience of working in an information, programming or analysis role within the NHS or social care. Familiar with a range of database applications, you will have a flair for translating complex quantitative data into useful information for a range of different audiences. It’s likely you will have a first degree or equivalent work experience. You will definitely have the initiative and intelligence to find quick, pragmatic solutions to problems.
