For an initial 3 months contract with potential for longer engagement.
The ideal candidate will
- have worked closely with user researchers to rapidly produce prototypes
- have deep understanding of accessibility
- be comfortable working in an environment that practices automated testing
- be happy working in a highly collaborative fashion on a multi-disciplinary team
Essential skills and experience
- demonstrable track record of delivering web based front ends
- excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, etc.
- strong experience writing modular JavaScript; and using jQuery, Angular (2 and above), reactjs, nodejs and a variety of other modern JavaScript frameworks and tools
- commitment to writing clean code and comprehensive, clear tests
- happy to help out with analysis, story creation and testing
- keen to pair and share knowledge with other team members
- enjoys being a member of a cross functional team and collaborating with different disciplines to solve problems
- understanding of agile environments and version control
Desirable ?
- testing experience in Jasmine
- understanding of BDD and Ubiquitous Language
- experience with Drupal or other similar CMS
- prior experience working with AWS or Azure
