Are you a Design Engineer with Experience in using Catia V5? Are you looking for your next long-term, immediately available contract with a global leader within the automotive sector?

My client are a global leading tier 1 supplier of automotive components. They are looking for a Catia V5 Design Engineer to join their team on a long term contract basis. You will have past experience of creating CAD data according to the inputs given by the product engineering teams as well as customer data, ensuring that designs are tool and manufacturing feasible.

You will create additional data sets as required by the program which will entail 2D drawing, visualisation files, exploded views etc. Participation in design review meetings will also be a necessity as well as other tasks suited to the role. Candidates with prior automotive interior design experience (plastic) along with surface development experience will be favoured.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any Catia V5 Design engineer to secure a long term contract position within a global company.

The Role:

* Design of automotive components for interiors (plastic)

* Design Review Meetings

* Ensure designs consider FEA, dimensional variation analysis, Quality functional deployment etc.

The Candidate:

* Experience in using Catia V5

* Experience of automotive interior design

* Knowledge of plastic engineering tooling and manufacturing
