Enigma People Solutions is delighted to be recruiting an Edinburgh based Software Engineer to work within my client's system modelling group. My client is a household name and is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic engineer to support the development of high performance models of non-volatile storage memories.

The ideal candidate will display an avid curiosity which drives them to analyse how NAND devices operate and will be driven to seek out answers and translate these concepts into optimum executable models.

Role involves:

The opportunity to collaborate with Systems, Firmware, ASIC and NAND teams

Being capable of working across the layers of architectural design, from how does the NAND work through to System operations

Proving model operation across varied simulation environments and platforms

You will be busy investigating, developing and supporting worldwide development teams, all at the same time

Constantly strengthening the quality of model coverage and operation

Skills/Experience Required:

Skill with C coding, and commercial exposure to C++ and Verilog

An understanding of the working methods of Systems, Firmware, ASIC and NAND teams.

Willingness to take on and achieve challenging goals

Flexibility to balance many competing requests

Proactive in generating innovative solutions within a team environment

BSc/BA degree or equivalent with 5 or more years of experience

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
