The Team
This role is sat in the GTB Tech team - We’re Less like The Avengers and more like Suicide Squad. A mix of UX-ers, Developers, Makers and Testers building fun things for us and our clients.
Job Overview
Working with the agency and client National Web Portal teams to test and manage development updates to the platform. Based at the GTB offices, but with frequent attendance at the Ford of Europe offices to work closely with Ford of Europe Business and IT development/project management teams.
Job Summary
Test new functionality to ensure it meets the business and end user requirements.
Ensure process is followed to make sure all components are tested before release.
Work with development team to make sure everyone is aware of what is happening.
Wider description of role:
Full understanding of User Experience and Design requirements (training will be provided for the specific systems).
Understanding of Development and User Acceptance Testing best practice.
Experience of Content Management Systems and their application to a multi-site platform.
Ability to document and handover Content Management System tasks.
Influence and advocate quality assurance within the team. Qualify QA with other key project stakeholders.
Roles, Responsibilities & Requirements
Essential experience required:
User Acceptance Testing:
Full understanding of User Experience and Design requirements (training will be provided for the specific systems).
Understanding of Development and User Acceptance Testing best practice.
Experience of Content Management Systems and their application to a multi-site platform.
Ability to document and handover Content Management System tasks.
Influence and advocate quality assurance within the team. Qualify QA with other key project stakeholders.
Ability to write test scripts.
Working closely with Ford IT as well as the business client.
Knowledge of AEM or CQ 5
General:
Attend, and contribute to, team meetings. Raise internal issues which affect the morale or job performance of the Account
Group/Agency.
Willingness to undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time.
