Proteus Europe is searching for a Senior Technical Analyst Accounts and Savings for a 6 month contract role based in Brussels, Belgium.

Our Client :-

Our client is, as the first universal direct bank, a strong player on the Belgian market. The bank provides its customers with a wide range of financial products and services via the distribution channel of their choice (click and face). Our clients customers are based in retail as well as private banking clients, as well as small, medium and large enterprises.

Your New role :-

-translating functional analysis and requirements into technical analysis and developments together with the parties involved

-providing and updating technical documentation

-giving support: planning estimations of workload, costs, timelines and technical risks

-advising, appraisal and code review

-pooling and sharing of knowledge on applications used

-supports in the maintenance of applications

-provides third-line support and independently performs problem analysis.

-interacts with third party to ensure the delivery of high quality developments and solutions

Your Skills and experience :-

Essential Skills :-

- a university degree or a bachelor in information technology or similar level based on experience.

- 7 years of work experience in COBOL IT environment.

- Considerable knowledge of analysis and modelling tools, different platforms, methodologies, --programming languages, processes or architectures used within COBOL context.

- specific knowledge of banking processes and Accounts and Savings domain.

- fluency in French and/or Dutch and have a good knowledge of English.

- a strong interest in Continuous Deployment and Agile/SCRUM and/or experience as Scrum Master is an asset.

-well organized: you work out detailed action plans how to reach your goal, taking into account the constraints and priorities

-team player

-a strong communicator, able to present concepts and data in a structured way

-assertive but diplomatically
