Looking for a Senior Java Developer!!!

We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer who has excellent Java 8 and Spring MVC experience for a brand new Big Data project that my client are looking to roll out in 2017 for their 12.6 million mobile/e-commerce customers. My client are a technology and software development provider based in the city centre of London - close to many infrastructural and recreational amenities. Their 150+ multicultural employees are predominantly working on eCommerce and lottery platforms.

Their mission is to disrupt the online lottery business with innovative and engaging products. Product discovery through user testing, prototypes and qualitative research help us validate ideas at an early stage. Quantitative analysis and conversion rate optimization help us to iterate products and improve performance. Self-empowered and autonomous teams foster ownership and a drive to exceed expectations. Collaboration nurtures trust, inventiveness and a willingness to be bold. As a multicultural team with over 150 employees from 15 countries, they develop and run a state of the art e-Commerce platform.

In order to scale and hit the needs of the market, they are looking for a Senior Java Developer with a natural leadership attitude, who can influence the team and thrive for good decisions. What you will do:

* Design, develop, test and maintain backend components in distributed backend systems

* with the focus on high performance and availability

* Propose and implement ideas and solutions aimed at improving the software quality as

* well as software architecture of the components and products assigned to the team

* Work in one cross-functional team with Product Manager, Engineers and UX Designer

* in an agile environment to shape new products

* Push limits of product innovation and improve this continuously by engaging with the

* latest advancements in technology and methods
