Introduction

Our Head Office Cost Controlling Department is now looking for a proactive, analytical and highly organised individual to join their vibrant, fast paced team.

The Cost Controlling Department provide Executive Management and Operational departments with relevant Key Performance Indicators for targeted management of all business processes within the company. They also provide vital support to the departments with these processes. If you are a passionate and motivated individual determined to build a career in a challenging international environment this is an ideal role for you.

Your role

- Supporting the Cost Controlling team and assisting with projects relevant to department

- Monitoring and analysing costs

- Supporting business planning processes

- Designing advanced reports and tools used throughout the company to improve decision making and the overall performance of the business

- Identifying risks and improvement opportunities

- Providing quality assurance of systems

- Implementing international standards

- Developing and analysing audited areas

- Acting as the main point of contact for both national teams and International department

Your profile

- Experience in a similar position or a proven aptitude for data analysis is essential

- Previous retail experience is desirable

- Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver accurate results

- Advanced Microsoft Excel and VBA skills

- Excellent command of the English language

- Self-motivated and proactive with a can-do attitude

- The ability to work on projects and solve problems independently

- An innovator rather than an administrator, able to deliver the final product in a quality fashion

- Fluent in German and English with a high level of written and spoken language skills

Our Offer

- £24,000 - £32,000 per annum (subject to experience)

- 10% London Weighting benefit (non contractual) for employees working within the M25

- 30 days holiday per annum (pro rata, including Bank Holidays), rising to 35 days after 2 years
