Change the way we communicate.

The Parliamentary Digital Service is transforming the way Parliament does digital. We’re responsible for the entire digital strategy, including development of all parliamentary platforms from intranet services to a brand new website.

We’re now looking for a Messaging Specialist to research and implement digital communications. You’ll ensure we push forward fast to keep pace with the way people use technology, from instant messaging to video calls. It’s a unique organisational setting which balances ambitions for openness and flexibility with the need for security.

You’ll make an active difference to the way modern Parliament works, so you’ll need experience of advising on IT solutions in a large-scale enterprise (1000+ users). Exposure to Cloud-enabled solutions such as Office 365 is vital, as well as experience of mobile device management and messaging protocols.

Your success as a Messaging Specialist depends on in-depth technical understanding alongside an ability to look at the broader organisational picture and communicate effectively with non-technical experts.
