Job Purpose:
SFW is looking for self-starting team player to join its exceptional Content and Collaboration practice in a development role spanning various projects across SFW’s wide client base.
The role involves solution design for typical ECM applications, comprising requirements gathering, content modelling, solution information structures that promote easy discovery and content re-use and UI design.
The role also involves liaising closely with technical team members to ensure that an optimal design is realised, meeting end user and stakeholder expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a good academic background with at least 2.1 (equivalent alternative qualifications will be considered) or relevant experience.
Skills and Experience:
Experience of designing user-centric enterprise content management solutions
High level understanding of at least one modern and industry standard content management platform
Strong understanding of information management theory and practice
Experience of devising and delivering appropriate information architectures and technical solutions to meet client requirements
Familiarity with requirements gathering techniques and solution options decision making processes
Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to solicit and agree end user designs, including use of established analytical and design techniques (card sorting, wire framing, etc.).
Fluent in spoken English and able to take part in meetings and discussions with clients both on line and in person
Proactive personality and able to work autonomously
Good written communication skills, be a team player and be able to work to tight deadline when needed
Eligible for SC clearance (minimum 4 year residence in the UK)
Proficiency in implementing solutions based on SharePoint on premise or Office 365
Experience of oversight of more junior team members
Understanding of information management compliance drivers and solution techniques
Understanding of solution governance principles
Experience of working in Agile projects
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility for designing solutions for our extensive client base in both the public and private sectors.
Ownership of designs and assurance that develop solution accurately reflects that design
Leading client meetings, informing requirement solicitation and solution choices
Overseeing more junior project team members
Keeping aware of and introducing new techniques and tools to continually improve Content and Collaboration team services
Actively sharing knowledge across team boundaries
Supporting pre-sales and sales activities
Project office activities including progress reporting and timesheet logging

Salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience
