The role

Departing from traditional servers, desktops and rigid, hands-off, demarcated processes we are changing to a virtual private/public.hybrid cloud, service-based delivery model built on OpenStack and HP hosted Office 365. Our first major customer has a user base of 300,000 users; we are looking to make a swift transformation and migration of their existing estate to these cloud services.

* Project Delivery - Design, develop, test, document and maintain infrastructure solutions under the Accord architecture using a range of Middleware products

* Utilise appropriate code control and configuration management tools. Examples are bespoke Tuxedo TIG and TAG gateways, CIB bespoke JAVA code, various FT solution enhancements, numerous UNIX and Java scripting requirements etc.

* Provide a comprehensive support function for Integration infrastructure solutions and implementations, providing a full range of ITIL service delivery skills, e.g. Incident and Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration and Release Management.

* Software lifecycle - monitor product EOLs, define product roadmap, test and implement releases.

* Build and configure batch and online services utilising middleware product set.

* Provide a facility to create, sign and implement digital certificates for middleware products for service to service authentication.

* Contribute to the development of the ITG QMS by writing documents, reviewing and attending meetings where necessary.

Essential Knowledge and Skills Required:

* Unix (AIX, Solaris) Support Experience

* Microsoft Windows Server Experience

* Strong Experience in the ITIL Processes (Incident, Change, Problem)

Desirable skills and knowledge/certifications

* Oracle Tuxedo, TMA, + various adapters

* IBM Websphere MQSeries under AIX, Solaris, Windows and OS390

* IBM Websphere Web Application Server (WAS)
