Technical Manager - Production and/or completion chemistry

Aberdeen based - O&G Industry.

Progressive Global Energy has been tasked by an SME in Aberdeen to source an experienced Technical Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The company are a well established, renowned service company that specialise in completion and production chemicals.

This innovative company are looking to expand their team in Aberdeen due to growth.

Main responsibilities

* Control of testing and project list for trials and tenders.

* Mentor and support existing lab staff

* Liaise with BD, sales and commercial teams to ensure projects are on time within budget.

* Excellent knowledge of risk assessments,procedures and COSHH - ensure they are in place and being adhered to at all times.

The right person must have 5 years + experience within the O&G, chemicals industry with previous experience within a technical role.

Previous experience working within a lab is essential.

Please note that the right person will have overall responsibility of the testing/project list of chemicals for the company, therefore must have a high technical awareness of products and some exposure to the development of chemicals.

An existing degree in chemical engineering is preferable.

Existing commercial experience and pricing strategies is preferable.
