Technology Solutions provides Corporate IT services to all Warner Bros. businesses globally. Technology Solutions consists of a number of Competency Centers focused on different technology and application towers. The International team supports WB’s businesses outside of the US.
Primary Purpose of the Job:
The Sr. Analyst, Client Solutions position is responsible for providing business systems analysis services and support for International corporate clients and their IT solutions. This includes delivery of quality documentation and meeting client requirements (e.g., business system analysis and functional design requirements); communicate status input to Corporate Solutions Manager for management reporting to clients and TS executives. It is expected this position will have knowledge to help triage issues for applications and collaborate with third party providers on required configuration updates as appropriate. This position requires familiarity with the technologies and applications available to Warner Bros. and have a deep understanding of the corporate processes for the businesses they support (i.e., Finance, HR and Legal). This position will collaborate extensively with the Home Office Corporate Solutions counterparts and the various technology teams.

-Proven experience with SAP, encompassing Financials, Procurement, CRM, IPM and/or IS-Media, is desirable
-Knowledge of financial accounting and closing process required
-Solid experience in a business systems analysis or relationship management role working with business clients with a complex portfolio of applications across multiple technology platforms
-Knowledge and practical application of the software development Life Cycle (SDLC), with industry standard best practice methodologies
-Familiarity working in a matrix organization including internal and external (3rd party service provider) resources
Essential Job Functions:
-Work with clients to understand their corporate and enterprise business processes and challenges to help achieve continuous improvement. This could result in developing requirements and business cases for new applications or enhancements.
-Assist with the delivery and support of corporate applications for change and incident management as well as the promotion of new functionality to production.
-Collaborate with clients to define and manage the pipeline of enhancements requests for approval.
-Proactively monitor all Service Level Agreement metrics on any outsourced services within their application suite to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
-Manage requests from enterprise clients (Finance, HR, Legal) that require quick action and decisions that impact the overall IT portfolio and strategy.
-Collaborating with Users, Competency Center and/or Solution Partners to identify and finalize solutions.
Decisions made by this role:
-Low to medium complexity application and process design decisions with input from key decision makers within the business.
-Time management decisions to multi-task and satisfy deadlines and priorities communicated by supervisor.
-Prioritization of development work.
Technical Knowledge / Skills:
-Extensive knowledge of the SAP Financials solution and related applications including the Business Warehouse toolset supporting corporate common financials processes
-Intermediate to advanced skills of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
-Knowledge of FICO, BI, BCS
-Requirements definition and realization knowledge of industry standard tools including Microsoft Office applications, Visio or other process/data modelling software required
-Application design experience
-Knowledge of integration architecture processes and standards
Functional Knowledge / Skills in the following areas:
-In-depth knowledge of Entertainment specific practices in Finance and ability to translate them into Technology requirements
-Knowledge of transactional and analytical process around financial, by-title, and period close business process
-Knowledge of film accounting, film Ultimates and costing process desired
-In-depth knowledge of all phases of system development lifecycle, including production support
-Understanding of Legal requirements relating to Technology, such as Data Privacy compliance relationships between systems
-Business process design and modelling, JAD (Joint Application Development) models and methodology experience highly desirable
-Experience of Functional and technical effort estimation; Business process reengineering; Requirements definition and realization
-Ability to develop and maintain project plans, budgets
-Ability to gather functional requirements and translate to functional and technical design solutions
-Knowledge of basic GAAP accounting and reporting principles is preferred
-Ability to interact with a diverse global base of client groups and bring requirements to business problems and translate into IT solutions

-Strategic / Customer Focus: Proficient decision-making and time management skills. Displays leadership abilities. Maintains current knowledge in use and industry trends of technology
-Can do, entrepreneurial approach to the business and an ability to think and deliver creative value-added solutions to clients

-Undergraduate degree required in Information Systems or related field
-SAP FICO or BI certification desired
-Business Analysis Diploma; Consultancy or ITIL certification beneficial
