One of Scotland’s fastest growing tech start-ups is looking for a .NET Developer to join their team in Glasgow. With a range of new projects lined up for 2015 this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to the future direction and development of this successful company.

The role requires the following:

Experience developing rich, responsive/adaptive cross browser web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server and Javascript/JQuery

An understanding of OOP and Software Design Patterns

Understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working as part of an agile team

Experience working in a Continuous Integration environment (MSBuild, TeamCity, Git/SVN)

Excellent knowledge and application of development best practices

Good to have

Test driven design, domain driven design

Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure

NoSQL database experience

Building and consuming REST APIs (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc)

Knowledge of caching and high scalability architectures

HTML5/CSS3 literate

Strong SQL skills

Ability to keep up with emerging trends, architectures and best practice

You will actively participate in the full lifecycle development of the platform and client projects including requirements capture, design, code, test, release and support.
