My client, a world-leading provider of Business Intelligence to the Financial and Legal sectors, is seeking an ambitious student Software Engineer to join their Software Development team within their thriving London office for a 12 month internship. Working within their Financial and Risk department, the successful individual will receive extensive mentoring and practical experience working as part of an Agile Software Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Software Engineers to develop professional working values within a highly successful, multinational organisation.

The Role:

Working within the Software Engineering team in their Financial and Risk department, you will gain commercial experience in Software Development, System Testing , Delivery of high quality code and documentation, Peer Review and investigation of new technologies and best practices. You will work on the client's key products and gain a good insight into the Financial Services sector.

The Individual:

The ideal candidate will be a University student who is studying towards a Computer Science (or similar) degree and is looking to complete a year in industry ahead of their final year of study. You will have experience using a C-like language such as Java, C or C++ and will be a strong team player with a genuine passion for Software Engineering.

My client will offer up to £18,000 for the successful intern
