Storage Admin, Storage Support, Storage Engineer, Infrastructure Support, Infrastructure Engineer, 3rd Line, 2nd Line - 6 Months - London City

Our reputable client based in the city of London is currently looking for a Storage Administrator/Support Engineer to join the team.

This role is solely a support/admin role so the candidate MUST have supported in a Storage environment prior, and can demonstrate this at interview stage.

Essential skills:

*Netapp and/or EMC (Preferable both)

*Cisco - SAN Switches

Desirables:

(For NetApp Storage) :

*Professional :NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA)

*Specialist : NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE) - (Backup and Recovery / SAN DATA ONTAP 7-Mode)

(For the EMC storage) :

*Basic : Information Storage and Management (EMCISA)

*Storage Administrator (EMCSA) VNX Solutions Specialist

*Storage Administrator (EMCSA) Specialist - Symmetrix Solutions

This role is a Monday - Friday (40 Hour Per Week)starting immediately.

Daily duties will comprise of:

*Provide BAU and pro-active support to storage infrastructure

*Manage and support NetApp storage (NFS/CIFS and LUN) in a Metro Cluster environment.

*Manage and support EMC storage - VPLEX/VNX/VMAX/Data Domain

*Managing Cisco - SAN Switches

*Monitoring of systems to ensure high quality overall performance

*Basic Understanding of Networks, unix and windows

*Knowledge of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
