Test Programme Manager - Strategy - SVP / Director Level

My top tier banking client requires an experienced Test Programme Manger / Head of Testing candidate as an additional hire set to drive strategy reflecting company initiatives 2015 -18'

The role primary responsibility for the delivery of test strategy, provide leadership, advice and expertise on quality assurance policies and procedures and lead the quality assurance function and ensure a responsive and high quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be required to develop and deliver the QA transformation goals and objectives and remains internally focused but will involve interaction with senior level stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

Significant experience leading the testing within business critical IT projects and programmes;

Experience of managing stakeholders at Executive level;

People management and development experience essential;

Experience managing testing in a commercial environment

Experience managing test automation implementation and maintenance;

Experience of managing budgets in excess of £5m; and

Expert in Project management process / methods. Ideally experienced in implementing process change and governance successfully in an organisation.
