The City of London Police have adopted an Innovation Agenda to develop and implement new ways of working, to deliver better services to the community, with fewer staff. And that's where you come in.

As Innovation Manager you will be key in raising the profile of this initiative. You will have sole responsibility in designing a bespoke programme of events that will encourage staff within the City of London Police to use new ideas and approaches, allowing them to work in new ways, contributing to the Innovation Programme. Whether you are providing leadership and support to managers across the Force or briefing the Force ACPO Team on the progress of the innovation projects, your position will be vital in ensuring new and improved services are developed and implemented. Working collaboratively with staff and Officers, you will help identify new ways of working, enabling change across the organisation and encouraging staff to develop ideas around doing things differently.

With excellent planning and organisational skills and a great track record of developing projects that encourage new products and approaches to work, you will bring essential ideas to the role, from conception to completion. Your strong communication skills will allow you to influence and encourage the staff and Officers, facilitating innovation across the Force. And as you establish a system for monitoring innovative capability and performance, you will use your previous experience to review outcomes, identifying barriers and opportunities and ensuring all proposed processes and approaches to work are compliant with organisational values.
