A SAP NetWeaver Developer, with a proven track record of developing solutions based on SAP technologies such as ABAP/4, OO ABAP, JAVA/J2EE, SAP Enterprise Portal, and WebDynpro, is required to join one of the world's leading consulting, systems integration and outsourcing company with presence in over 80 countries, annual revenues of over $16 billion and approximately 93,000 employees, including 7,500 in the UK.
Our client requires a SAP NetWeaver Developer to facilitate the delivery and support of the development portion of projects/programs within specified functional areas. This client facing SAP consulting role will require individuals to work directly with SAP functional systems analysts to document the technical requirements as well as develop and recommend solutions and identify any potential process changes affected. Development aspects include ABAP/4 reports, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and creation, enhancements.
Additionally, the role will entail SAP Portal administration, development and configuration, ABAP and JAVA WebDynpro, to provide accurate estimates based on design documents. This includes the development and deployment, rollout and hand-over of small to medium projects, applications, systems software, and enhancements, whilst ensuring that development projects meet business requirements and goals, and fulfill end-user requirements.
Successful candidates will have very strong SAP experience, and experience with programming such as ABAP/4, OO ABAP, BAPIs/RFCs, Forms (SAP Scripts/Smartforms/Adobe), ALV reporting, SAP NetWeaver, Portal administration/development, JAVA/ABAP WebDynpro, and full life cycle experience. Furthermore, strong consulting skills, excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and workshops, are essential for this role, with SAP workflow and web development being beneficial.
