Position - Account Manager

Location - Home Based in UK, France or Germany (but will need to visit Head Office in the Midlands (usually weekly if UK based))

Salary - Absolutely negotiable for the right person

The Background and Role

A company within one of the largest conglomerates in the world is looking for a number of Sales Account Managers to help achieve aggressive but realistic growth plans. The company work within 3 different but related areas across automotive, aerospace and industrial machinery namely

IT - Applications Development, ERP, CRM MS Dynamics, SAP

PLM - Value Added Reseller for all the major players

Engineering and Design - Work packages, offshoring, onshoring, nearshoring

Whilst the company ideally want to provide all 3 of the above to each organisation they understand this is often a gradual process of trust so single areas can be sold

As a Sales Account Manager your role will be approximately 80% Account Management and 20% New Business and you will focus on one of the core sectors above but can be expected to sell within all 3 areas (IT, PLM and Engineering and Design)

At present the company are focusing on recruiting within their automotive division (and possibly aerospace), therefore it's absolutely imperative that you have a proven track record of solution sales into automotive or aerospace (and ideally you'll come complete with a "little black book" of contacts). If you don't have this sector experience please do not apply as the company will be unable to consider you. Also, a background in sales within IT, PLM or Engineering and Design would certainly hold you in good stead.
