Job type: 6 month contract + extensions
Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire
Salary: 140 - 150/day
Overview:
- This role is responsible for delivering excellent "supplier to depot" customer service via
collaborative working with key customers on ordering, availability and event planning
- The role is also responsible for managing projects and initiatives that will reduce running costs
and improve profitability
Principal Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure service level targets are consistently met or exceeded
- Provide weekly updates on service level to the business
- Build collaborative event forecasting process with retailer
- Eliminate out of stocks due to NPD, Seasonal and Promotional forecasting errors
- Minimise customer returns through ensuring robust customer data and working with the customer
to correct any ordering errors
- Be an expert in retailer intranet sites, utilizing data to maximize inbound service levels / on-shelf
availability and thereby Net Trade Sales
- Ensure customers forecasts are aligned and stock is being ordered by customer to maximise
in-store availability
- Lead the stock management policy for allocations to retailer in short stock situations
- Understand and communicate out of stock risks to retailer
- Identify and lead initiatives and implement improvements in service level processes with
Customers
- Ensure strong relationships are built and maintained with internal & external customers
- Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and event planning

Experience/Knowledge:
Essential:
- Degree educated or equivalent (preferably a 2.1)
- Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate across all levels of the business both
internally and with external customers)
- Strong numerical reasoning skills
- Track record of strong customer focus
- Capable of managing highly stressful situations
Preferred:
- FMCG Logistics experience
- Experience of working in a customer facing supply chain role
- Knowledge of S&OP process
- Negotiation Skills - experience of having to negotiate across multiple stakeholders
- Experience of SAP & BW
