Are you an experienced Front-end developer with a passion for crafting enticing and intuitive web applications?We're seeking a Front-end Developer with experience in React.js and Next.js to join the team at one of Europe's leading holiday providers. As a member of the front-end team, you'll architect the dynamic look and feel of our web application, ensuring it's eye-catching enough to attract users and guide them from first click to checkout. You'll also be responsible for adding new exciting features along the way.You will have a lot of autonomy in this role and be able to add your own ideas and flair to the business, free from the 'red tape' of larger organisations.This will be a hybrid role with 1 day a month in the office which is based in Cheshire.What you get:Up to £70,000 salaryFlexible working hours25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)7 free nights holiday each year4% matched pension contributionGym membershipWhat you'll be doing:Enhance our existing web application to elevate the customer journey, attract more users, and boost conversion rates.Develop and implement new features that will make our platform the go-to provider.Collaborate with a creative team to design cutting-edge web and mobile applications from the ground up.Utilise your expertise in React.js and Next.js to build visually stunning front-end applications.Collaborate closely with a team of UI/UX designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration. Mentor and train younger developers. What we're looking for:3 years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on React.js and Next.jsExperience with JavaScript, TypeScript and web technologies such as HTML and CSS.Understanding of GraphQL.Experience with unit testing.Knowledge of REST APIs and API integration.Exposure to AWS technology and DevOps processes.
