Mechanical Design Engineer (Creo/Automotive) Peterborough, Cambridgeshire £26 - £31 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35 12 month initial contract with long term extension opportunities

Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience using Creo and from an automotive background who is looking for an exciting role working with a global market leader on a range of exciting projects.

Do you have experience using Creo to produce 3D models? Are you looking to work on the development of the next generation of automotive projects in a state of the art manufacturing facility and develop your skills through specialist training?

This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will be using Creo to produce 3D models and drawings to create a variety of products used in engine development and testing. The role will be working in a state of the art R&D facility and you will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team where you contribute to NPI projects and work through the whole development process. This role will be working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday, allows hybrid working with 3 days a week minimum required on site and will be working Inside of IR35 regulations.

The Role:

• Being involved in innovative engine development projects with a multidisciplinary team
• Using Creo to produce 3D models and drawings for new product development
• Long term 12 month contract working 37 hours a week with hybrid working Inside IR35

The Person:

• Mechanical Design Engineer coming from an automotive or engine development background
• Previous experience using Creo to produce 3D models and drawings
• Looking for a long term 12 month contract with a market leading company
