My client, a leading provider of advanced security solutions, is looking to hire a Sales Manager to support the promotion of their products within the worldwide Defence and Homeland Security community.
This is a hybrid role, requiring international travel at at least one day a week in the Cambridge/East Anglia Area.
Responsibilities:
- Promote products within the Defence and Homeland Security community
- Deliver individual sales targets and maintain the company's reputation
- Close sales with integrators and end users
- Create and execute a strategy to increase sales and lead major project bids
- Assist in penetrating new markets
- Maintain records of all sales activity using CRM system
- Identify and close high-value prospects
- Travel extensively within the nominated region for client visits and product demonstrations
- Build business relationships with potential new customers
- Help develop comprehensive programme capture plans
- Maintain and communicate short and long-term business development plans
- Respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Dynamic, can-do attitude
- Strong communications and presentation skills
- Technical competence with the ability to understand and communicate new concepts and solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- 5+ years of experience in a technical discipline or sales role in a related industry
- Ability to obtain UK security clearance
- Full UK Driving licence
