My client, a leading provider of advanced security solutions, is looking to hire a Sales Manager to support the promotion of their products within the worldwide Defence and Homeland Security community. 

This is a hybrid role, requiring international travel at at least one day a week in the Cambridge/East Anglia Area. 

Responsibilities:

  • Promote products within the Defence and Homeland Security community
  • Deliver individual sales targets and maintain the company's reputation
  • Close sales with integrators and end users
  • Create and execute a strategy to increase sales and lead major project bids
  • Assist in penetrating new markets
  • Maintain records of all sales activity using CRM system
  • Identify and close high-value prospects
  • Travel extensively within the nominated region for client visits and product demonstrations
  • Build business relationships with potential new customers
  • Help develop comprehensive programme capture plans
  • Maintain and communicate short and long-term business development plans
  • Respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
Requirements:
  • Dynamic, can-do attitude
  • Strong communications and presentation skills
  • Technical competence with the ability to understand and communicate new concepts and solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical discipline or sales role in a related industry
  • Ability to obtain UK security clearance
  • Full UK Driving licence
