Lead Researcher in Network System Design for AI

I am seeking a Senior Researcher with key research strengths in network system design for AI computation to join my client in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role you’ll be leading the research on network topology for LLMs training/inference, cloud computation, HPC and focused on critical prototype design and development. You will also be expected to form academic partnerships and collaborations with leading universities in the area. Please note this is an on-site working opportunity in Zurich (preference) or Lausanne.

Essential experience

• PhD in an area related to networking systems, computer architecture or similar
• 10+ years’ experience on network topology design/research
• Publication history in relation to AI training systems or HPC, preferably on network topology design
• Research interests in Graph theory, network topology, supercomputer architecture, LLM training system design
