Software Engineer - Hardware Testing

This leader in high performance, high-capacity optical front-end systems is seeking a Software Engineer - Hardware Testing to be based at their R+D Centre in Berlin.

The Software Engineer - Hardware Testing will be responsible for developing software to automate test procedures in production and manufacturing. Working closely with the hardware team, the Software Engineer - Hardware Testing will be responsible for writing test automation software in C++, Python or Perl.

Having completed your higher technical education, you will be able to bring 3+ years of experience developing test automation software in C++, Python, Perl etc. for production / manufacture of highly technical electronic systems. You will be happy working with source code management tools and any experience developing test automation software for semiconductor technology would be an advantage. Any exposure to C#, VB.net or VHDL (for FPGA firmware programming) would also be beneficial.
