This Role is open to applicants from across the EU.

A global Semiconductor company is looking for a Senior Analog Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join their design centre in the Southwest of Germany which is located in one of the most scenic and warmest regions of the country and provides easy access to Switzerland and France alike

Your role will include:

  • In your role as an Analog Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer you will have the following responsibilities in the development of HV ICs for automotive applications:
  • Technical responsibility for the development of Analog and Mixed-Signal (AMS) blocks for automotive, from concept, through design, verification, silicon evaluation, and characterisation
  • Ownership of the block design up to complete analog sub-systems with clear partitioning (IC analog, digital) and IP-based structuring of the design database.
  •             •        Design of complex Analog and Mixed-Signal IPs such as Data Converters (oversampled Sigma-Delta or Nyquist-rate ADCs and DACs), Power Management sub-systems (voltage regulators, supply monitoring and voltage supervision, reverse polarity protection)
  • Technical guidance and supervision of Analog and Layout Design Engineers.
  • Ensuring the quality of the design through reviews in all development phases.
Your Profile:
  • Master's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or physics with a focus on semiconductors or microelectronics
  • Demonstrated industrial design experience and deep detailed understanding of analog and mixed-signal components/IPs (e.g.: bandgaps, amplifiers, LDOs, charge pumps, temperature sensors, ADCs, DACs, analog filters) including ESD and EMC
  • Experience of the development phases from concept, design, verification (pre-silicon) and evaluation (post-silicon)
  • Experience in top-level SoC design and integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of design methods and experience with CAD tools (design, simulation, verification)
  • Experience with high-voltage processes such as HV-CMOS, BCD including NVM/EEPROM
