Our client is a leading technology company specialising in Optical development for cryptography. They are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in data management and encryption, shaping the future of technology. As they expand their operations, they are seeking a motivated Technical Project Manager to join their team in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier & Contract Management: Take charge of FPGA development projects, ensuring smooth project management and goal attainment. This includes managing supplier relationships and contracts previously overseen by the R&D lead.
  • Research Delivery Support: Assist in the delivery of research projects to meet grant objectives, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Engagement Assistance: Coordinate bug tracking, issue resolution, and collaboration efforts to support customer engagement with the innovation lab. This may involve co-development and collaboration on prototype solutions, working closely with the product team.
Profile Requirements:
  • Experience  with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to drive project success.
  • Ideally with a background in software development within banking or healthcare, possessing a strong understanding of data management and encryption principles.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and maintain a pragmatic mindset when solving challenges. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Preferably 2-5 years of project management experience alongside previous development experience, demonstrating proficiency in coordinating project activities and managing stakeholders.
**Location and Work Arrangement:**

This role is based in Leeds, with occasional travel to Bristol as needed. Both full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered, with a preference for candidates willing to collaborate closely with the team in Leeds and be on site for a minimum of 2 days a week
