Engineering Manger £60,000 per annum + Pension + 33 Days Holiday + Sick Pay Commutable from Birmingham, Dudley, Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall

An Excellent opportunity for an individual with strong management experience within the engineering industry looking to join a well-established, local company where you will be able to have full reins of implementing a lean environment and good team culture.

The company are industry leaders in their given sector and work with a host of reputable customers and clients across the UK. They are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join the team to oversee a team of 11 engineers within design.

This role would suit an individual with strong management experience within the manufacturing/engineering sector looking for an exciting but challenging role within a well established business.

The Role:

• Reporting directly to the MD, managing a team of 11 engineers within design to ensure that work is up to quality standards, within the specified timeframes and within budget.
• Implement lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, continuous improvement
• Work with multidisciplinary teams such as manufacturing, sales
• 7:30 to 4pm Monday to Friday, potential for car allowance package for someone travelling further afield

The Person:

• Experience Engineering Manager
• Background or knowledge of Design engineering
• Strong people management with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proven experience of driving a good team work culture, implementing continuous improvement
