Embedded Firmware Engineer

An Embedded Firmware Engineer is sought by this leading developer of wireless self-powered devices to be based at their R+D Centre in Munich. The Embedded Firmware Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing embedded systems for energy-harvesting wireless devices. The Embedded Firmware Engineer will use their knowledge of radio technology and RF engineering for wireless communication systems and firmware development to deliver cutting-edge high performance, low-power solutions.

Your background and skills will be a mix of embedded software / firmware development, RF engineering, and wireless radio systems development. Specifically, the successful candidate will have excellent RF and wireless communications protocol experience. Coupled with this you will need firmware development experience (C / C++) and a solid understanding of embedded IoT device and sensor development. Experience of wireless communication standards would also be beneficial.
