Founders Associate - Operations

My client, an exciting start up company working on pioneering space technology, is looking for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside their Founder and CEO. Based in Reading, just a short walk from the train station, you will be working alongside a team of the worlds most talented engineers, supporting them and helping to shape and drive their vision, operation and growth strategy.

Core responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited too;

• Spearheading projects and new initiatives.
• Analyzing market trends to ensure as a company they are always one step ahead.
• Enhance daily operations of the business.
• Manage critical financial operations e.g. returns and budget analysis.
• Contribute towards sales pitches and investor updates.
• Manage stakeholder relationships externally and help to oversee public relations via the company website and social platforms.

Essential experience

• MBA or degree qualified in a relevant subject area such as; Engineering, Computer Science etc.
• Experience working for a management consulting company such as McKinsey or KPMG.
• Experience working in the technology domain, any exposure to the Space industry is highly advantageous. 
• Proven track record of handling complex projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize business needs and resources.
