You will be working closely with a multi-talented engineering team on a well-established site, with great facilities, to contribute to their collective target of increasing sales and driving planned growth. In this role you will be contributing to purchasing strategies, maintaining stock levels, negotiating material costs, understanding technical documentation/drawings, liaising with suppliers, clients and internal staff, working with an MRP/ERP system and dealing with shipping and delivery of parts/finished products across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment, including a good understanding of technical documentation, have a good knowledge of procurement processes, with good project management qualities. • Maintaining stock levels, purchasing materials with and without MRP system
• Communicate with new and existing suppliers, negotiating cost
• Liaising with the team to provide costeffect and timely solutions.

The Person

• Experience in procurement
• Experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment, able to understand technical documentation
• Able to navigate an MRP system, communicate and build relationships effectively.
