Vehicle Technician (training into HGV) Workshop based in Trafford Park £35,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + 4 on 4 off Days (42 hours, 7am - 7pm) + Training + Career Progression + Private Medical Insurance + Premium Overtime (1.5x) + Plus Further Benefits Are you a HGV/PSV Technician or a Mechanic/Vehicle Technician looking for training into HGV? In this role you will be carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard. You will be responsible for the initial diagnosis and fault-finding whilst also liaising with the part department to ensure the workshop is fully stocked. In addition you will be expected to uphold a professional and courteous service to customers. The role would suit an HGV Technician looking for a new role that offers great job security whilst also providing great opportunities for technical development. The Role: *Perform routine maintenance and repair to vehicles and trailers *Complete initial fault diagnosis *Day shift - 4 on 4 off (42 hours, 7am - 7pm) The Person: *Experienced vehicle technician/mechanic *Strong communication to liaise with customers and colleagues *Qualified HGV Technician advantageous but not essential
