Mechanical Engineer

A global medical device company are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering team on a contract basis. Your role will be to help design and develop their products. Understanding everything that is required to build prints, put in specifications, tolerances and best practices. More focus will be around how you design the system that is going to work. Have a system design but the role is all about optimisation. A combination of devising tests, revising, analysis of the tests and providing further direction.

Essential skills:

• Designing experience
• Testing experience
• Data analysis experience
• Writing design specifications

Desirable skills:

• Medical device or other regulated industry experience
• Microfluidics experience

The start date is for ASAP. The initial contract length is for 6 months (with extension options after). The role is based in County Tipperary and will require 3 days onsite per week, the rest of the time you can work remotely. The rate is EUR60 per hour, depending on experience, if you have any expenses please let me know and I can factor that into the rate for you.
