JOB TITLE: Mobile iOS Engineering Lead SALARY: £118,861.00 - £129,290.00 GBP LOCATION(S): London HOURS: Full time WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in the London office site About this opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Consumer Servicing & Engagement Lab for a Lead iOS Engineer. As a lead engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing our iOS applications. You will work in a cross-functional team to create customer -friendly, high performance, and scalable features that are being used by more than 26 million customers through brands including Lloyd's Bank, Halifax & Bank of Scotland. Here's where you'll make a difference: This is an excellent opportunity for a driven candidate to join us as an iOS Engineering Lead working across several cross-disciplinary feature teams providing engineering leadership and expertise. You will be passionate about designing and delivering scalable mobile applications. You will: Collaborate with solution architects, UI/UX designers, API development team and proposition managers to refine and implement features Act as an authority with knowledge of best practice iOS UI/UX design principles and patterns Demonstrate leadership for mobile architecture Provide mentoring and supporting for iOS development team members Help create prototypes to explore innovative solutions and features In return, you'll enjoy an exciting, innovative environment which supports flexible and agile working. Expertise in Swift & iOS development Proficient in secure application development practices Excellent knowledge of Swift and iOS SDK and experience in building mobile applications for iOS Strong knowledge of Apple UI design principles, interface guidelines, and patterns It would also be great if you had experience in:Application security principals, cryptography and secure coding techniques React / AngularJS frameworks Strong understanding of source code repositories and change management tools, Git. Experience of working with Docker or other containerisation technologies Experience of successfully implementing and using CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of agile development practices and test automation (Unit/Integration/E2E testing - Jest/Testing Library/Cucumber/Cypress). Displaying a DevOps mindset and ability to use tools like Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform Experience with build processes and release automation (Azure/GCP Pipelines, Nexus).
