Job Title: Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional
Location: Barrow in Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: From £43,373 depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for analysing the estimate at completion across the dreadnought programme using performance trends
- Reviewing basis of estimates which underpin the EAC (Estimate at completion)
- Providing support to the cost performance team
- Participating in the annual budgetary cycle process, collaborating with key stakeholders
- Build effective relationships with opposite numbers in BAE, RR and DSST to develop collaborative working across the parties
- Providing cost performance support to the programme director, project controls director and their respective teams
Your skills and experiences:
- Understanding of estimated at completion and application of cost performance techniques
- Ability to work in a cross functional team
- Demonstrable working experience in EAC
- Excellent in Communication and presentation skills (Power point)
- Demonstrable working experience in Excel

The Cost Performance team:
Providing support to BOE (basis of estimate) Lead and earned value lead, the team collate the data from alliance parties and analyse the performance and trends, we then give opinion on if estimate at completion is robust for the Dreadnought programme. Within project controls there are opportunities to develop skills within various roles across the business. You'll have access to a comprehensive training programme and support in working towards APM charter ship.
