Role Description

As a Snowflake Solutions Architect you will join our team of Delivery Leads, our technical SMEs who play a pivotal role in scoping, planning, and delivering our engagements. You will be responsible for delivering Snowflake solutions and helping to support our growing team of Snowflake specialists.

This role is key in shaping the future growth of Kubrick Advanced and supporting our successful partnership with Snowflake.

As a member of the Delivery Leads team, you will be part of the management team helping to shape the future capabilities of Kubrick Advanced and support in the day-to-day management of our pipeline of work and ongoing engagements.

Our Delivery Leads oversee our blended squads across multiple engagements and act as an important coordination role between Kubrick, our deployed squads, and key stakeholders in our clients and technology partners. Due to the variety of our engagements, this role will suit a technology professional with a broad knowledge and interest in data and technology tooling, including emerging industry trends, who is looking to gain exposure to a wide range of data consultancy challenges across our broad client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical delivery oversight of our squads, collaborating with our clients as an SME, and being an escalation point for our team leaders involved in delivery.
• Provide insights and direction as necessary, including adherence to best practice.
• Develop and further our Snowflake capabilities, working closely with stakeholders across the business and directly with Snowflake via our well-established commercial relationship.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, helping to guide their technical and professional development.
• Contribute to thought leadership activities and participation in industry events.
• Play an active role in technical pre-sales by:
• Scoping and defining client requirements, translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Working collaboratively with clients and partners to support the design of solutions to be delivered by our squads.
• Informing the technical design and approach of engagements
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.

Personal?Specification: 

• Practical experience of designing and implementing Snowflake solutions, e.g. building the platform and building effective pipelines. Experience with large scale migrations to Snowflake solutions would be highly beneficial.
• Solution design/architecture coupled with strong communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL for building data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience implementing data architectures and data services hosted in the Cloud (AWS or Azure preferable).
• Familiarity with DevOps best practice or technical development lead experience desirable.
• Planning & executing delivery using Agile methodologies (Scrum, KanBan, SAFe).
• Working with commercial functions.
• Experience mentoring technical personnel.
• Experience delivering projects with experience mentoring and developing technical colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams across different contexts at any one time.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, delivery experience and senior client stakeholder management. Our Delivery Leads provide high-level delivery management and technical oversight to empower our KA squad leaders in the execution of their responsibilities while supporting and guiding our clients in realising the most value from engaging Kubrick.

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: From £90,000-£110,000, negotiable dependent on experience + bonus. Equity options available.

Location: Central London office space by Mansion House/Cannon Street/Monument (EC4V)

Working Pattern: Hybrid - expectation of 2-3 days per week in our office and/or working at client locations.
