Data Warehouse Engineer (SQL AWS RedShift) London / WFH to £55k

Are you a technologist Data Warehouse Engineer looking for an opportunity to take ownership and work with modern technology with continual learning and development opportunities?

You could be joining a global events management company that specialise in large scale corporate and prestige event planning and enjoying perks such as trips to the Dubai and a global event of your choice (fully paid for!).

As a Data Warehouse Engineer you'll collaborate with the Technical Lead to build a new Data Warehouse from scratch, working with modern technologies such as AWS RedShift and DBT. You'll design, deploy and maintain the ETL structures / pipelines, data modelling and developing procedures to bring data into the warehouse, ingesting new data types and sources. You'll contribute and reinforce the best practice model for database design, optimise and tune SQL queries for best performance and participate in peer code review across the data team.

About you:

• You have experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer / SQL Database Developer preferably in a cloud environment such as AWS RedShift or Snowflake
• You have strong SQL programming and database management skills with experience of performance tuning, including indexing and distribution keys
• You're familiar with DBT or similar ETL tools
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
