Python Software Engineer
£40,000 - £50,000 & Stock options!
This is a chance to join a Sheffield-based, well funded and award-winning Quantum Computing start-up, that are developing high-performance systems to deliver new capabilities in quantum computing and networking. You will have the opportunity to develop in line with the vibrant start-up's growth.
They are looking for a Python Software Engineer to be involved in the development of applications and control systems to enable seamless automation of custom test systems in their optical laboratory. You'll be responsible for the development of custom software applications in Python & QT and the development of software for testing quantum devices.
What's required?
- Strong Python development (OOP) and software development tools
- Experience with the integration of hardware or Scientific instrumentation
- BSc/MSc/PhD in a STEM discipline
- Bonus - Experience with real time hardware control
