Data Product Owner - Cards PlatformLloyds Banking GroupChester: Hybrid 2 days per week in the office and the rest from homeSalary & Benefits: £61,641 to £75,339 per annum, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.We also offer flexible working hours, agile working practices & flexibility to suit your to ensure a good work-life balance.Summary;You'll be working in the Consumer Finance Platform, part of Consumer Lending and focus specifically upon Cards products. You'll be collaborating with Cards Platform Data Lead, Business and Technical Platform Leads, Product Owners, Chief Data Analytics Office, the Consumer Lending Business Unit Data Office, and Officer.About the role;You'll manage the development and implementation of the Groups data lifecycle, ensuring data quality, governance, and controls. We're a divisional function, so you would engage heavily with our centralised functions to support best practice across the bank.This is a great hybrid role where you'll act as Data Manager / Product Owner and support product development in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a Data Product Owner you'll own and implement the data governance policies and procedures establishing and enforcing data management standards to ensure consistency and compliance aligned to the Groups and Divisional Data Offices.In support of the Data Foundations platform accountabilities for data side of change and data quality, you'll ensure policy is applied for the critical data elements and key data assets.While not having official line management responsibilities as a senior member of the team you'll aim to empower, encourage, and motivates those around you to take ownership of the initiatives to ensure we achieve optimal data driven outcomes for the business and our customers.You'll also work with key stakeholders and support the management of 3rd party companies as part of your role.Examples of specific activities might include;Implement processes for data profiling, cleansing, data quality and validation building upon Collibra and strategic products in place.Monitor and improve data quality through regular audits.Collaborate with IT and business units to identify data governance and controls needs and requirements.Identification of data use cases to optimise data and business processes.What key skills you'll need to apply for the role?We'd welcome applicants from diverse organisational, cultural, and technological backgrounds as we believe this is critical to success.
