On offer is an interesting, varied and challenging position for a Quality Manager with previous experience in a manufacturing setting to work for a pioneering company who have a global customer base. This fantastic company are a key player in the design and subsequent manufacture of innovative products utilized within many industries including oil and gas. In this role you will ensure safety in the workplace and that employees follow environmental, health and safety laws and guidelines. You will be responsible for the control of quality throughout the procurement, manufacturing, and assembly of products, ensuring that company procedures are robust and followed at all times & will use your knowledge and skills to create and promote a positive QHSE culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global company at the forefront of their industry. The role:

  • Lead quality investigations regarding customer technical problems and establish root cause.
  • Supplier improvement/development and non-conformance reporting.
  • Critical features, define inspection and measurement requirements.
  • Product approvals - management of third party product and manufacturing approvals.
  • To be Health & Safety Champion for the facility.
  • Assessments - Proactively conducting risk & COSHH assessments and training relevant employees to support this activity and evaluating how risks can be reduced and improvements can be made.

The person:

  • NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred).
  • BSc/BA in Engineering (or similar).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to resolve problems in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to analyse data and produce reports and develop relevant policies.
